Lauren + Anthony | State Library of South Australia

Lauren and Anthony tied the knot at the South Australian Museum then had their reception nearby at the State Library Mortlock Chamber. It was such a beautiful day even though it was a little rainy! These two are such a fun couple who never ever stop laughing :) It was so great to photograph them and their amazing & bubbly bridal party! Lauren and Anthony decided to have a First Look and most of their portraits taken before the ceremony, which worked out so well! Not only did they have a first look but Lauren had a first look with her dad! Oh My it was pretty sweet! Dad looked so surprised and even said ‘You look so beautiful, I’m not sure I want to give you away’. And Lauren had some heartfelt cufflinks made for dad and helped him put them on. It was a really sweet moment and I was honoured to capture it.

Their First Look was really sweet, we went to a private spot nearby the hotel where Lauren tapped on Anthony’s shoulder and showed him how beautiful she looked. That blue wall matched their navy colour theme perfectly and you wouldn’t even know it was actually a small road/alley! We had a couple hours before the ceremony so we went along the buildings on North Terrace. First the reading room, which was so fun and we had so much space! Then the arches at the uni then the Mortlock Library then after the ceremony we even did a few more. I’m so proud of how well they did with all of those photo locations and looked great at every single one of them! It was perfect that they had their wedding surrounded by books as Lauren is a school teacher and thats where they met! Both working at the same school together and now the rest is history!

Congratulations Lauren and Anthony! It was a honour to capture your big day and be apart of all the cherished moments xx
